This week’s front page leads off with the historic news of the Reidsville Lions Club first female President to be inducted. Linda Curl was inducted at the last meeting and will take over July 1.
The Kimchi agricultural facility in Glennville, which makes a Korean type of salad, had a fire in one of the buildings last week and suffered lots of smoke and water damage.
The Reidsville Mite Boys won the Lyons Tournament Tuesday evening, June 18.
The VFW members are planning a spectacular display of American flags on the Courthouse square for the Fourth of July.
And speaking of July 4, the county-wide fireworks celebration will be held at Tattnall County High School on the evening of July 4th. Gates open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5 per vehicle.
