It’s all “Back to School” on this week’s front page! Tattnall students returned to the classroom on Wednesday, August 8. The lead story is a brief note on back to school and Tattnall County High School’s Ninth Grade First event is also featured. Over at Pinewood, they are welcoming new Headmaster Harold Roach Jr. Students at PCA return to school on August 17.
In football news, there is a story on Brandon Harton, former TCHS Warrior, that was written by WTOC-TV in Savannah. Also, Tattnall County High will hold a Meet The Players night this Friday, August 10 at 7 p.m. on the football field. There will be several vendors and lots of TCHS stuff to get that Warrior spirit going! Bring the family out for this traditional kickoff to the high school football season.
In political news, Keith Dixon is running his formal announcement this week as he gets ready to take on incumbent Frank Murphy for the position of Chairman of the County Commissioners in the upcoming General Election in November.
