Four people were arrested on drug charges on July 3 at the Cheerio Inn in Glennville. Part of that included the operations of a meth lab in one of the hotel rooms.

The Tattnall County fireworks show was held on the evening of July 4th at TCHS. Three individuals had slight cuts and abrasions when three six-inch shells (launching charges) exploded in launching tubes during the grand finale of the event.

The splash pad at Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park in Reidsville is a huge hit with families this summer! There is no admission charge to the splash pad and only a $5 parking pass per vehicle is required.

And we wrap up the Miss Georgia Pageant event with a Q&A with our two area queens who competed for titles … Harley Strickland and Sarah DeLoach.

First Night at the Movies at the Reidsville Library will be held the first Friday of the month. The movie will start promptly at 7 p.m. Seating is limited. The first film to be shown is “The Old Man and the Sea” on July 11. For more information call the Library at 557-1053.
