Escaped Tattnall County jail inmate Chad Dasher has finally been arrested after having been on the run since January. Tattnall County authorities caught him after he jumped into a pond. He had been on the run and is wanted on various burglary charges across several states.

Chris Mock, a 17-year-old junior at Tattnall County High School, was taken by Lifestar to Savannah after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday evening, April 13. Mock, and other individuals had apparently been walking in the road on Hwy 121.

Reidsville citizens and businesses had to deal with the water being cut off for seven hours on Monday, during the business day. The city had attempted repair work on a line when another water line busted in the vicinity.
