It’s all positive news on the front page this week … a great edition with Valentine’s coming up this Friday, February 14!

Leading off the top are TCHS STAR Student Sarah Fort and TCHS STAR Teacher Casey McNeely. Sarah is the daughter of Leonard and Kelly Fort of Glennville. To obtain the STAR nomination, high school seniors must have the highest score on a single test date on the three-part SAT and be in the top 10 percent of their class.

Jim Jordan of Reidsville was this year’s Tattnall County honoree as TConservationist of the Year. The award is presented to a farmer in each of the counties of the Ogeechee River Soil and Water Conservation District.

Glennville businessman Bill Werkheiser has announced his candidacy for Georgia State Representative of District 157.

And we’re featuring two different couples this week for a special Valentine’s feature. Jack and Anne Rogers have been married 66 years, and Don and Gail Warren have been married since 2011. Both have wonderful stories to share.
