Several stories start out on the front page this week, including the Tattnall County High School girls’ basketball team securing a spot in the first round of state playoffs (see video below)! Charla Nail of Reidsville was honored at Southeastern Tech; DeShon Nails, a TCHS boys’ basketball star, was chosen to play in the North-South Junior Basketball All-Star Game at Armstrong State March 24; the Tattnall County Development Authority has been reestablished; Pinewood student Taylor Lewis signed with Chipola College in Florida to play baseball; several awards were presented at Glennville’s annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet; and three were arrested in Tattnall for drug possession.
