A 25-year-old Glennville man, Dantrel Dunson, was killed August 23 after his four-wheeler left the road and struck a tree on Enoch Walker Road.

Several honorees were featured on the front page this week … John Conley was honored at the POAG Convention. Glennville’s Wayne Dasher was honored by WTOC-TV as the “Hometown Hero”. And Dr. Jim Strickland was honored by the state of Georgia with Senate Resolution 52 in his honor.

Because of cutbacks in funding, the Senior Citizens Center in Reidsville will no longer be open on Fridays.

And serveral were arrested for drugs this week in Reidsville and one more arrested and charged with armed robbery.
