Happy faces and Happy Meals this week in Reidsville as McDonald’s officially opened it’s doors on Thursday, August 15. A select VIP night was held the night before for local business people. In the same parking lot will be the brand new Dollar General, which is still under construction on the inside.
Believe it or not, Adam Sandler made a brief stop in Reidsville at Smith’s Restaurant and he took a couple of minutes to talk to a few employees and sign an autograph before leaving town with his wife, little girl and dog, all in tow.
Pinewod Christian Academy students went back to school on Friday, August 16. This marks the 44th year of the PCA Patriots. The school has approximately 600 students in grades K3 through 12th.
The Wiregrass Festival is coming up September 28 in Reidsville and the Wiregrass committee has been busy thanking the many sponsors who help fund the event. Leading off as the Platinum Sponsor again this year is Optim Medical Center – Tattnall.
